Who am i?

Sam Eastman is a Boston-based musician specializing in guitar, lap steel, and similar stringed instruments. In addition to his own artistry, he keeps a steady gig as the lead guitarist of local rock outfit Edward Glen, and has performed with acts such as Hush Club, Julie Rhodes, Dan Fontaine & Memphis Sun Mafia, and Jane Don’t. He’s a graduate of the music school at Montreal’s prestigious McGill University, where he was a pupil of Canadian jazz legend Mike Gauthier. He draws upon many different influences that allow him to adapt to whatever style is thrown his way, ranging from Bill Frisell, to Carlos Santana, to Michael Hedges, to Chet Atkins. He’s even writing this webpage in the third person to assure you that he means business.
